27th April 2002 Wonderful news, Taronga gained his title of Champion at the Bedford and District Cat Show, in three straight shows at the age of just eleven months old. Thanks to judges Mr N. Carter, Mrs J. Higgins, and Mrs H. Dessauer.

18th May 2002 at the Suffolk and Norfolk Cat Club Show. Oska did extremely well today! Oska was awarded with his first "PC" ( Ha, Ha, Ha... not a personal computer ) and "BOB" ( Best Of Breed ). Many thanks to judge Mrs. R.Gowdy. Well done Oska!

29th May 2002  Good news, Nikita had one Kitten today, a little girl. We are going to we are going to call her Lilibet. She is a lovely brown tabby with white. We hope we will be able to keep her as a breeding queen. Her dad is Grand Champion Kititas Frasier Crane. Bad news is, Nikita for medical reasons had to be spayed.

22nd June 2002 What a day, we went to the Maine Coon Club Show, where Taronga got best in show adult male, we were on Cloud Nine, and feel so proud of him.

13th July 2002 Went to Lincolnshire Cat Club Show. We are very pleased Taronga got his first Grand CC. Thanks to Judge Mrs J. Worth.

22nd July 2002 Kiara and Taronga, are proud parents of one beautiful silver tabby with white baby boy. What a kitten. He is massive, weighing in at 7ozs. Watch out soon for photos on our kitten page.

3rd August 2002 Another exciting day. We went to The Eastern Counties Cat Show, where Taronga got his second Grand CC., thanks to the judge Mr N. Carter.

7th September 2002 Well done Grand Champion Kassaro Taronga, for gaining your title today at the age of fifteen months. Thanks to judge, Mrs V. Kilby. What a boy. We are so proud to own him. Once again we are on cloud nine.

21st October 2002 Taronga and Fullmoon's Gilda at Karyntay Maine Coons( Owner Kathryn Long ), have become parents to five beautiful babies, three boys and two girls.

2nd January 2003 Kiara and Taronga proudly announce the arrival of their six most beautiful babies! Three boys, and three girls. Well done Kiara you are a star.

16th January 2003 All the kittens are growing fabulously healthy and beautiful. They are going to take after their handsome brother Tau Chaka.

18th January 2003 We went to Notts and Derby Cat Club Show today. We had a wonderful and fulfilling day which got even better with the resulting excellent results. Ruskita Lilibet Jubilee got 1st in the open and "BOB" Ruskita Tau Chaka got 1st in the open and "BOB" Tau is proudly owned by Maddie and Nico Lange. Ruskita Oska Tigone got 1st in the open and his second "PC" Oska is proudly owned by Thelma and Roger Coxford. We are very proud of these beautiful three cats! Well done to all of you. This was certainly a wonderful day for Ruskita Maine Coons.

29th March 2003 We went to the Cambridgeshire Cat Club show today. We had another successful day. Osaka got his third PC and gained his title of premier thanks to judge Mrs J Gilson. Congratulations to Osaka and his proud owners Thelma and Roger Coxford. Tau Chaka got a first in his open class. Well done!

12th April 2003 Tau Chaka went to the Essex Cat Club show and once again got awarded a first in the open class.

26th April 2003 At the Bedford and district Cat Club show, Osaka was awarded another PC thanks to judge Mrs J Green. This was Tau Chaka's first adult show and he was awarded his first CC. Thanks to judge Mrs C Pike.

1st May 2003 Wonderful news today Eleanor gave birth to five beautiful babies, three girls and two boys. This is Eleanor's first litter and both mum and babies are doing well. Once again Taronga is the dad and one little girl is the same colour as him.

28 May 2002 Today Koonikki Panache of Ruskita joined the Ruskita gang. She is a silver tortie and really pretty. Watch out for photos of her on our girls page . Many thanks to Fiona and Mark Nicholls for entrusting Panache in our care, she will be truly spoilt and loved just like all the rest.

31st May 2003 Lilibets baby has arrived. One little girl. Lilibet had to have a Caesarean but both mum and baby are doing well.

8th June 2003 Eleanor's babies are now just over five weeks old and growing fast, they look really stunning just like their mum and dad. Lilibet and baby are getting on very well. She is also growing very fast.

Well done to all of them and thanks to their proud owners for loving them and showing them so beautifully. They all looked stunning! Jazmin also today did very well, no not at the show but at home. She gave birth to four beautiful babies. Three silver tortie and one brown tabby boy.

6th September 2003 at the Herts and Middlesex Show Once again the Ruskita gang done very well.Ruskita Alfi Rafiki was awarded 1st and BOB Ruskita Ebi Kiros also got 1st and BOB. Koonikki Panache of Ruskita won 1st in the open. Well done to them all and their owners.

20th September 2003 at the Bucks Oxon and Berks Cat Show Ruskita Chimera of Koonikki had another wonderful day,she won 1st in the open got best of breed and then went on to be the best in show SLH kitten. What a proud day for her owners Mark and Fiona Nicholls. Well done!

Yorkshire Cat Club Show 25th October 2003 Well she's done it again. Ruskita Chimera of Koonikki,this was her first adult show and she was awarded 1st,CC,BOB and a red card day. Congratulations to Fiona, Mark and Chimera. What a girl. We are so proud of her.

PR. RUSKITA TAU CHAKA BEST OF VARIETY SEMI-LONGHAIR NEUTER AND MADE UP TO PREMIER.

29th November 2003 at the Supreme Cat Show on Saturday the Ruskita Tau Chaka was awarded 1st in the AOC Pre-Premier Male Class also a PC and best of breed. He then went on to win Best Of Variety Semi - Longhair Neuter on gaining this title he was awarded another PC which made TAU up to a Premier. Our congratulations go to his very proud owners Nico and Maddie de Lange who like us are on cloud nine! What a boy! What a Star!! Our other results of the day were Ruskita Alfi Rafiki 1st and CC. Ruskita Chimera of koonikki 2nd. Koonikki Panache of Ruskita 3rd. Ruskita Ebi Kiros 4th.

13th December 2003 at the North Of Britain LH & SLH Show Once again Ruskita Chimera of Koonikki had a wonderful day she was awarded her second CC also BOB and was best SLH in show. Our congratulations once again to Chimera and her owners Mark and Fiona Nichols.

24th January 2004 at the Notts and Derby Show Another really good day for Ruskita Maine Coons. Chimera done it again got 1st in the open CC and best of breed and was made up to champion Ruskita Chimera of Koonikki. Ruskita Alfi Rafiki was awarded 1st in the open and his second CC. Ruskita Mistique was awarded 1st in the open and Best of Breed. This was Mistique's first show and she was a little star. Well done and congratulations to all of them and thank you to their proud owners for loving and showing them so beautifully.

28th January 2004 Eleanor gave birth to eight beautiful babies, seven boys and one girl. Mum and all the babies are very well after their very dramatic start to life. It was snowing very heavy, blowing a blizzard and -4. We had to rush Eleanor to the vets as she had problems and the babies had to be born by Caesarean section. With babies cuddled in to vetbed and hot water bottles and mum wrapped up in vetbed (thick fleece type bedding) we all arrived back home at about 10.30pm non the worse for their ordeal. Mum and babies soon settled down on a nice warm heat pad in the warm and the babies soon started to suckle mum.

10th February 2004 Eleanor and babies are doing very well. growing fast and enjoying their top up of milk from the bottle. This is helping Eleanor as eight big babies are a lot for her to cope with and of course I am enjoying helping her by giving them their bottle.

19th March 2004 Kiara kept us up all night but it was worth it as she gave birth to three lovely babies, two girls and one boy. Both mum and babies are all doing well.

20th March 2004 at the Maine Coon Guild Show at Hayward Heath congratulations to Lorna Kirk/owner breeder of Kirkoonz Tigras who at just under six months old had a wonderful day at the above show. She won best overall Maine Coon kitten in show, best overall Maine Coon female in show, best overall Maine Coon in show she then went on to win Best Junior at the all breeds judging and was awarded the FIFE Rosette which is the highest honour any cat can be awarded within FIFE. Also Tigras was awarded a special award from the Australian Cat Federation. Well done Tigras you are a star. We also feel very proud of Tigras as she is the daughter of our very special boy Grand Champion Kassaro Taronga. Her mum is Kirkooz Siberia. What else is there to say only Taronga has now made his mark at the FIFE shows as well as the GCCF.

27th March 2004 at the Cambridge Cat Club Show, Alfi got his 3rd CC today so now has the title of CHAMPION RUSKITA ALFI RAFIKI. Congratulations to Alfi and his very proud owners Thelma and Roger Coxford. Thank you for caring and loving him the way you both do. Alfi is Ruskita's first male Champion. What a boy! what a star!!
