| February 2010: We attended the FB Awards dinner and are delighted to announce that Ruskita Ashoka got Category II Best Kitten and Overall Best Kitten, our Kititas Kiara who was awarded a DM and our dear Ruskita Tia Maria got Category II Best Adult, Overall Best Adult and Best Maine Coon. To top all that Ruskita Maine Coons have been awarded FB Breeder of the year 2008/2009. |
| January 25th 2009: The Viking Cat Club Show at Milton Keynes. First show of the year and have we got news for you! We had a fantastic day with Ruskita Wellynton Boots and his brother Ruskita Mara Shimba, both getting their CAC's and being made up to Champions. Well done boys and their proud owners Jackie and Brian. Ruskita Ozzy Valentino got his CAGPIB, BIV and NOM, well done Ozzy and his proud owners Colin and Lynn. Ruskita Ruby-Tuesday got an EX1, well done to Ruby and Angie her proud owner, this was her first Fife show and she took it all in her stride. Ruskita Sakima Zeus was awarded a CACIB and a BIV and was made up to an International Champion, well done Sakima and his proud owner Samantha. Our own girls also had a very good day, Ruskita Tia Maria got her CAGCIB, BIV and NOM and Ruskita Zemirah (Ruby's sister) got an EX1 and NOM well done girls. When Sakima arrived at the show he was on a mission to get his title of International Champion as this would mean that his mum Kititas Kiara would be awarded a very special title of DM (Distinguished Merit). This is an award for a female with five offspring who have achieved International Champion or Premier titles. Congratulations and well done Ch. Kititas Kiara DM a special title for a very special girl, we are so proud of you. Thanks to our friend Catherine Letts for such a wonderful girl, as you can guess we are on cloud nine. |
| 30th November 2008: Day two of the Fife Viking Cat Club Show at Rugby. We had the boys Ozzy, Booties and Shimba come along and join us today and had yet another good day with Ruskita Ozzy Valentino getting a CAGPIB, Ruskita Wellynton Boots a CAC, Ruskita Mara Shimba got a CAC, BIV, NOM and at only ten months old BIS Adult Male, what a boy, congratulations to them all and their proud owners. Ruskita Zemirah got an EX1, NOM, and Ruskita Tia Maria got a CAGCIB, BIV and was Best Maine Coon in Show, once again well done girls. |
| 29th November 2008: The Fife Viking Cat Club Show at Rugby. It was lovely to see Zemirah's sister Ruskita Chandalini Elphie at the show she looked beautiful and did very well. She was awarded an EX1, BIV, NOM, well done and congratulations Elphie and her proud mum & dad, Michelle and Simon. Ruskita Zemirah got an EX1 and BIV. Ruskita Tia Maria got a CAGCIB, BIV and NOM well done girls. |
| 2nd November 2008: Fife All Winners Show. Ruskita Wellynton Boots was awarded a CAC and Ruskita Mara Shimba CAC, BIV and NOM also Best Black Tabby in the Maine Coon Special. Congratulations and well done boys and to your proud mum & dad Jackie and Brian. Also Lynn and Colin on Ruskita Ozzy Valentino getting his CAPIB. Our young lady Ruskita Zemirah got an EX1, well done Zemirah. Once again Ruskita Tia Maria had an excellent day, she was awarded CACIB this made her up to an International Champion. She also got BIV, NOM, BIS Female, BIS Adult, Overall BIS Category 11 and Overall Best Maine Coon in Show!. What a star, we are so proud of you Tia as you can quess we were on cloud nine for a few days. |
| 5th October 2008: The Maine Coon Guild Show at Edenbridge. It was lovely to see Ruskita Sakima Zeus again as it was seven months since he went to live with my friend Samantha Marsh at Somers Isle Maine Coons as a stud boy. I thought he would be really pleased to see me but no he only had eyes for Samantha he just loves her to bits and the same goes for her with him, he is a very spoilt boy. During the show he was awarded a CAC, well done Sakima and Samantha. At seventeen weeks old this was Ruskita Zemirah's first show and what a little star she was. She was awarded an EX1, BIV, NOM, and was awarded Best Kitten in the Maine Coon Special, we are so proud of her well done Zemirah. Big sister Ruskita Tia Maria had another excellent day she got a CACIB, BIV, NOM and BIS Female, well done Tia we are so proud of you. |
| Sunday 7th September 2008: The Viking Cat Club Show was held at Cleckheaton near Leeds, once again we had a great time meeting up with friends and seeing all the lovely cats that attended, the Ruskita row was well supported and Ruskita Ozzy Valentino was awarded a CAGPIB, Ruskita Titan Moon got a CAGPIB and was Nominated, Ruskita Wellynton Boots was awarded a CAC and Nominated, Ruskita Mara Shimba a CAC and like his brother Bootsie was also Nominated. It was a proud moment for their owners Jackie and Brian also ourselves to see them both up together in the best in show line up. Our own young lady Ruskita Tia Maria was awarded a CACIB, Nominated, BIS Female and BIS Adult well done Tia. Congratulations to all the proud owners of the above cats and thank you for showing them so beautifully. |
